HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hey everyone!

I hope all of you had a wonderful and joyous New Year. I stayed home -- had my PJs on by 10:00pm, in bed by 11:00pm and asleep by 11:10pm -- so you KNOW I was alone!

I hope we can all learn to treasure each day - this past year I've realized how truly short life can be.

May this be a year that we get in touch with old friends, stay in touch with new ones and continue to love our families and accepting thir many differences.

I'm so thrilled to still be part of the Gentry family. I am still at State Street Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and now starting Thursdays at Halsted! [ click on CALENDAR on the menu for times ]

Speaking of change [drum roll]: I've decided to spend some time every Thursday at Halsted with all of us singing show tumes. I KNOW! I can hardly believe it either -- It's really going to be fun!

Eric McCool (my webmaster) has made lyric books for those of you who need the words (as if...). So PLEASE join me!

Kathryn's Computer Update:

The NEW date for me ACTUALLY using my computer is January 15! YES...2008! I'll actually be answering emails and keeping you more up-to-date here on the site! Hey, it's a new year...change is good.

 

Okay, here's the deal: I took my beautiful laptop out of the computer bag, that my friend Rusty gave me, so Eric could start my edjumakashuning. Well...I have NO clue what I've done with all the cords that came with it and the battery was dead! Will it EVER end??

Kathryn didn't toss the cords out with the shipping box from 18 months ago...she actually FOUND the power cord 10 minutes later and (after 5 minutes of describing, over the phone, how to plug it in...) the laptop is CHARGING!
